  • My order doesn't need to be personalised, how soon can you ship?
Any in stock item that doesn't require add-ons (ie, adding initial pendants to necklaces etc), then it most likely can be shipped next business day.
  • Do you ship overseas?
Jes will investigate options for overseas shipping in the future, however, currently, the Jessica Helen store is available to Australian customers only. We apologise for any inconveniences this may cause.
  • The business hours state Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, when else can I get in touch?
Jessica Helen is a one-woman show. When Jes isn't in the workshop or office, she's usually spending quality time with her young family. Please be patient with out of hours communication, Jes will do her best to respond to clients in a timely manner.
  • I would like to meet with Jes for a design consultation, is this possible?
Presently, the Jessica Helen workshop is a private studio that doesn't allow for meetings. However, if you have found me via recommendation by a previous client, we may be able to arrange an alternative location to discuss a custom piece.
  • Can I supply my own gemstones?
Generally speaking, Jes prefers to select gemstones for her clients to choose from. Jes has years of gemmological and diamond training, with well established supply chains both locally and internationally. This allows her to verify the gems are ethically sourced from responsible sources. In the instance of jewellery remodelling; of course, Jes can repurpose your gems where possible. Depending on the circumstances, Jes may suggest get a gem repolished or cut to maximise it's potential.
  • What metals do you work with?
All Jessica Helen pieces are fabricated from solid silver, gold or platinum. It's Jes' belief that if you are investing in a bespoke piece of jewellery, that it's best to have it created in solid materials.
  • Can I wear my jewellery at the gym, in the pool or out doing yard work?
There's no hard and fast rule when it comes to taking care of your jewellery. Jes would most definitely prefer (as would most jewellers) that you leave your jewellery behind when it comes to physical activities. That said it's not always possible, for a variety of reasons. So yes, you can wear your jewellery to the gym or out in the yard, BUT, it may get marked, caught, etc on the equipment or tarnished by sweat. Jewellery is strong, but not indestructible. Yes, you can wear your jewellery in the pool or doing the dishes (although, I beg of you not to immerse opal or emerald jewellery in any liquid if possible, that could quite possibly lead to disaster due to their structural and chemical compositions!!) If you wear your jewellery in the pool, you may cause a chemical reaction with the metal causing it to blacken or tarnish, it is highly dependant on what the pool is treated with. Should you be so inclined - you could pop your jewellery in a Jessica Helen travel case while you're out and about! If you haven't already got one they can be purchased in the online store.
